What flip out sofa is suitable for my cover? 

This depends on which size you bought. We have two sizes - 1 to fit the Adairs sofa, and the second to fit the Kmart/ Big W and Target sofa. We recommend you purchase Big W over Kmart due to the quality of the foam. After extensive research we have noted that the Kmart foam and size changes variably over the years and to avoid sagging and a better fit we recommend Big W sofa.

 

How do I install my cover?

Alternatively, you need to fold the 2 sides of the flip out sofa together and place all the way to the end of the cover. Once released and the flip out section is nicely placed, the rest of the cover should just lift over the seated section. If it is tight, again you can fold areas of the cushion to place cover over. Do not force the cover at all. Ensure all arm seams are matching the relevant seam on the flip out sofa.

My sofa cover is missing the zip? 

We want to assure you that the absence of a zip on your sofa cover is intentional and designed with your child's safety in mind. To make the assembly process hassle-free, we recommend using a bobbipin or a paperclip in lieu of a zip. Simply secure the fabric together using this handy alternative. It's a small adjustment that ensures the safety of your little ones while maintaining the functionality of your sofa cover.

Where is my order? 

Please check your order confirmation email carefully as some items may be on pre-order. This means they are not yet in stock. They will not be sent out to you until the shipment has arrived. 

I am not sure what colour to purchase?

At Junior Haven, we strive to provide an accurate representation of our products on our website. However, please be aware that the actual colour of the product may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. Factors such as monitor settings, lighting conditions, and manufacturing processes can impact the way colours appear.

Can I use my old flip out sofa cover, or should I buy a new flip out sofa?
The newer the flip out sofa, the better fit our covers will be. The longer you keep your existing flip out sofa the more worn out it gets - therefore the saggier the cushion cover will look.
We cannot take responsibility of the fit of your cover due to previous wear and tear of your flip out sofa.
Our sofa covers will always fit NEW flip out sofas better.

 

I’m buying a new flip out sofa - what do I get? Kmart orBig W?
After extensive research on the foam inserts ourselves, we found out that Big W is more durable and will last longer. Kmart change the size of their sofa slightly as time goes by, so our sofa cover fit universally to allow for 1cm here and there.
Big W is a much higher grade insert foam, so will fit the cover neater for longer.

 

Why is there two sizes?
Adairs is slightly larger in size (mostly the height) than Kmart. We have only stocked a very small amount of the Adairs sofa covers.

 

How do you suggest I care for my cover?
Cold hand wash is preferred, however a cold gentle machine was is ok too.
Do not bleach or tumble dry, do not dry clean.
Blot spill immediately with an eco friendly wipe. Rinse with a damp cloth.
It is best to dry lying flat indoors only.

 

My cover fits oversized slightly, why?
Please note we have allowed for around 1% shrinkage.
If your cover is too large on your existing sofa we suggest you hand wash it in cold water with a very mild detergent. Machine wash is fine, cold and a low spin cycle.

 

What are your covers made of?
Fabric is 70% Polyester and 30% Cotton. The higher the polyester content the more durable the fabric, ie. the more it will stay in shape. The cotton offer that nice softness feel to all those soft little bottoms.
